The Manhattan Film Festival is dedicated to discovering new ways to help filmmakers pursue a career out of filmmaking. Since our inception we have continuously introduced creative new programing. Most recently we launched the Filmmaker Revenue Sharing Program which has already raised thousands of dollars for independent filmmakers. In 2011 we screened 132 films including 30 international selections. In 2012 the event will be ten exciting days of film, red carpet premieres, panel discussions, parties, and awards show.  Since our inception the Manhattan Film Festival has continuously introduced exciting creative new programing. We were the first film festival to offer the option of film selection via a web-based competition. We later brought the festival experience virtual by arranging for filmmaker Rómulo Guardia to participate in a live Q & A from Venezuela. Most recently we launched the Filmmaker Revenue Sharing Program which has already raised thousands of dollars for independent filmmakers.
