Story Line
February 1968. Amid a fierce snowstorm on the roads between the
countryside and Stockholm, two young men, Sebbe and Adam,
steal a priceless gold watch from an upscale home. When the
watch is accidentally damaged, they are forced to turn to the
reluctant watchmaker Karl Lundkvist for help. What begins as a
desperate attempt to fix a broken watch quickly escalates into a
tense, high-stakes thriller, as the four central characters—the
thieves, the watchmaker, and his girlfriend Hedda—confront each
other over the course of one day.
The Watchmaker is a suspense-driven story of morality, loyalty, and
survival in a world where right and wrong are never clear—and it
spirals into a life-and-death showdown.
