Story Line
After a curious 6 year old girl discovers a worm in her childhood backyard, she becomes a defiant young woman through a series of pivotal events in her life. Finding power and spite in the worms that follow her, she makes her way through quiet rebellion, sexual encounters and secrets, navigating expectations of womanhood in the 1960s-1970s Istanbul. A journey of self-preservation against the ingrained, one awakening after another.
