Two years after Iris broke his heart, Ash feels ready to find her soulmate. Not knowing where to start—and partly out of spite—she signs up for a dating app. Over the summer, Ash goes on a string of dates, but none of them live up to her expectations. There’s Cleo, who’s too uncertain, then Camille, who’s too young. Finally, there’s Margot, who causes panic. One after another, Ash’s dates leave her unsatisfied, searching for something better. But what is better when faces are mixed up in the algorithm? When matches follow one another like dopamine rushes? Between dates and advice from her friends and family, Ash learns about love in the age of apps.
