Story Line
In the vibrant city of Miami, an 18-year-old talented pianist named Vera
navigates the complexities of being a Foster Child who just aged out of the system and
pursuing her passion for Latin Jazz amidst poverty and exploitation. When she gets a
freelance job painting the walls of a new music studio Vera seizes the opportunity to
play in front of Hector, the Studio Owner, and Music Producer.
Hector recognizes her undeniable talent and eventually gives her the
opportunity to compose music for him. But when Vera works hard and arranges a
beautiful song, she finds out that Hector is an unscrupulous music producer who
exploits her dreams for his own gain and steals the composition from her.
As she battles against these external forces, Vera must also confront her own
insecurities and doubts about her worthiness in the competitive world of music and quits
her dream. But through perseverance, resilience, and the support of her friends, Vera
embarks one last time on a journey of self-discovery, finding her voice and carving out a
future in the rich tapestry of Latin Jazz, ultimately proving that with determination and
belief in oneself, anything is possible.
